Why Choose the Series VRS
One-Piece Body Construction
Tight shut-off design with one-piece body and cartridge-type seat. Hand-polished disc maximizes flow and minimizes resistance for high Cv performance. Epoxy coated for corrosion protection.
Wafer & Lug Configurations
Available in both wafer and lug body styles. Lug body valves rated for 150 PSI dead-end service. Shell tested to 150% and seat tested to 110% of maximum working pressure.
Flexible Operation Options
Lever, gear operated, or bare stem configurations. ISO 5211 mounting pad with square shaft (2″–14″) and key-type connection (16″–48″). Under-cut disc available upon request.
VRS vs. VRS-C
Both models share the same pressure ratings, sizes, and seat materials. Here’s what sets them apart.
Series VRS
- One-piece and two-piece stem options (SS 304/316/410/420)
- Encapsulated phenolic or aluminum-backed cartridge seat
- Boot seat design available
- Upper and lower stem construction for larger sizes
- Phenolic support ring (2″–14″), Aluminum (16″–24″)
Series VRS-C
- One-piece stem design (SS / Bronze)
- Cartridge-type seat with simplified construction
- FRP bushing system throughout
- Compact stem retainer design
- Streamlined assembly for easier maintenance
