Why Choose the Series 2F

2-Piece Flanged Design

ASME B16.34 fully conforming 2-piece body with ANSI B16.5 raised face flanged ends. Available in Class 150 (½″–12″) and Class 300 (½″–6″) with DIN 3202 F1/F4 face-to-face dimensions.

V-Port Flow Control

Available in 15°, 30°, 60°, and 90° V-notch configurations with the V-notch machined directly into the ball — not a seat insert. Delivers precise modulating flow control with tight shutoff.

Broad Material & Alloy Range

Standard CF8M stainless steel or WCB carbon steel body. Also available in 316L, Duplex, Alloy 20, Hastelloy C, Titanium, and Monel for severe corrosion environments.

Design by Size Range

The Series 2F uses two distinct internal designs optimized for their respective size ranges.

½″ – 6″ — Floating Ball

  • Floating ball design with TFM-1600 joint gasket and stem seal
  • Belleville spring washers maintain consistent packing load
  • External adjustable gland packing — no actuator removal needed
  • Body stud & nut construction (4 pcs for ½″–2″, 8 pcs for 2½″–4″, 10 pcs for 6″)

8″ – 12″ — Trunnion Mounted

  • Trunnion-mounted ball with 50/50 STFE trunnion bearings
  • Gland bolt packing adjustment with separate support gland
  • Heavier-duty body bolt construction (12 pcs for 8″, 16 for 10″, 24 for 12″)
  • Weights from 208 lbs (8″) to 750 lbs (12″) — consult factory for lifting
