Why Choose the Series VSG

Precise V-Port Flow Control

Available in 60° and 90° V-notch configurations. High turn-down ratio delivers precise flow control while retaining ball valve durability and tight shutoff — a compact, economical alternative to globe control valves.

Trunnion-Mounted Design

Blow-out proof stem with 17-4PH stainless steel construction and PEEK stem bearings. Trunnion design provides stable ball positioning and reduced operating torque across the full pressure range.

Adjustable Inverted Packing

Inverted packing flange allows in-line stem packing adjustments without removing the actuator. TFM1600 packing with Viton gland seal and Belleville spring washers for consistent sealing force.

Seat Options & Shutoff Class

Choose between soft seat and metal seat configurations based on your application requirements.

Soft Seat — Class VI Shutoff

  • RTFE, TFM1600, and CTFE (25% Carbon / 75% PTFE) seat options
  • Temperature range: -20°F to 750°F (TFM1600) / -20°F to 450°F (TFM4215)
  • Bubble-tight Class VI shutoff per ANSI/FCI 70-2
  • Viton O-ring backup seal standard (Kalrez, EPDM, Silicone optional)

Metal Seat — Class IV Shutoff

  • For high-temperature and abrasive service applications
  • Stellite internal hardfacing available for severe erosion resistance
  • Extended temperature capability beyond soft seat limits
  • Consult factory for metal-seated torque values and sizing
